For the longest time, I felt like every Monday was a fresh start.
New plan. New motivation. “This time I’m doing it right.”
But by midweek (or sooner), something would come up — life, stress, or just being tired — and I’d feel like I had to start over again.
The Cycle That Wasn’t Helping
Starting over sounds productive, but it can turn into a cycle:
- Start strong
- Slip up
- Feel like you failed
- Restart
Over and over again
What I Realized
At some point, I realized…
I didn’t need a new plan.
I didn’t need a new start.
I just needed to keep going.
What I Do Now
Instead of restarting, I:
- Make the next meal a better choice
- Go back to simple habits
- Let one off day just be one day
No reset. No pressure.
Why This Works Better
Consistency doesn’t come from being perfect.
It comes from not quitting when things aren’t perfect.
Now Mondays don’t feel like pressure anymore.
They’re just another day to keep going.
If you’re working on building more consistency too, you’re not alone 💛
