Snacking used to feel like something I had to “fix.”
Either I was trying not to snack at all… or I felt like I was doing it wrong.
Now I look at it a lot differently.
Why Snacking Felt Complicated
There’s so much advice out there:
- Don’t snack
- Only snack on certain foods
- Eat every 2 hours
- Don’t eat between meals
It gets confusing fast.
What I Try to Do Instead
I try to include something with protein or fat so I stay satisfied longer:
- Cheese + nuts
- Greek yogurt
- Deli meat roll-ups
- Boiled eggs
- Leftovers
Why This Works
It takes the pressure off.
Instead of overthinking every choice, I just focus on keeping it simple and satisfying.
Snacking doesn’t have to be complicated.
Sometimes it’s just about making a simple choice and moving on.
